Research Triangle Chapter Scholarship

Dear Future Hokie:

I am writing to tell you about one of the best things that ever happened to me: Virginia Tech. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 1989. Approximately another 3,920 Tech alumni currently live and work in the Research Triangle area as well. Because we believe that the education we received at Virginia Tech is second-to-none, we want to encourage you to attend Virginia’s great state university.

As scholarship chair of the Research Triangle Alumni Chapter, I would also like to inform you about a scholarship our chapter plans to award to a worthy high school senior in our area who will attend Virginia Tech in the Fall of 2024.

Please submit the scholarship application by Jan. 1.

The criteria for selecting the scholarship award winner include academic achievement, as well as participation in school activities and community support. We plan to announce our selection by June 15.
