Dr. Nancy Dye of Roanoke, Virginia, is an advocate for making a college education accessible, affordable, and delivering a measurable return on investment for students and their families. She is serving her second term on the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors, currently serving as Vice Rector and lead of the Presidential Search Committee. Dye is a retired surgeon and cofounder of a medical device manufacturing company involved in research and innovation. Dye is deeply involved in the Roanoke community through church, philanthropy and civic engagement.
She is married to Dr. Kevin Dye, a practicing Gastroenterologist at Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, and has three children and four grandchildren.
