Alumni chapters across the country are hosting service events in their communities to take part in the annual Big Event tradition. All service projects are scheduled for April 9 unless otherwise noted.

The Baltimore Hokies will be hosting two community service projects this year.

Baltimore:
We will be lending a hand through Volunteering Untapped to work in the Hamilton-Lauraville Main Street area in Baltimore City on Saturday, April 10 from 10 .a.m. -  1 p.m. The project will be working on an area known as “The Lot” (4500 Harford Road, Baltimore, MD 21214) to remove old pavement, do some mulching, cleaning, gardening, and strategically moving and placing gravel according to site plans. Plan to wear comfortable work clothes that can get dirty and closed toe shoes. Parking is available on the street.

Plan to bring work gloves, water, and to meet at the Main Trail Head at 8 a.m.

Directions to Eden Mill Nature Center:
From Fawn Grove Road, Turn onto Eden Mill Road.
Pass the first parking area, continue up the hill and past the Nature Center and the Canoe Barn(the road gets narrow here). The Main Trail Head is just over the bridge. There is parking just before the bridge on the right, and just over the bridge on the left.

From Telegraph Road, turn onto Eden Mill Road
