"We are what we eat." The same rings true for our best friends and companions!
Just like humans, pet retailers offer a variety of brand names; dry, canned, and fresh foods; and diets formulated for juvenile and senior animals. How do we make informed decisions from all of the options presented to us?
Join Mark Freeman, clinical associate professor at the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, for a discussion on the nutritional needs of pets across their lifespan. Freeman will focus on growing concerns around pet obesity and how owners can promote the health and wellness of their furry friends. Listen, learn, and help your cat or dog get the paw-sitively best out of life!
