Capital Pride
Virginia Tech and the Ex Lapide Alum Society are celebrating Pride in D.C. For nine years Ex Lapide has had a presence Capital Pride. Help us make this year our biggest gathering yet!
- When: Friday, June 7 from 8-10 p.m.
- Where: The Admiral, 1 Dupont Circle NW, Washington, D.C. 20036
- About: Join the Ex Lapide Society and other Hokies in D.C. for a Hokie and Proud social to kick off Capital Pride weekend!
- Cost: Registration is free with the option to make a gift to either the Pride Center or the Ex Lapide Society fund.
- When: Sunday, June 9 from noon–10 p.m.
- Where: Pennsylvania Avenue between 7th Street and the Capital (exact booth location TBD)
- About: Celebrate Pride with Hokies! Join Virginia Tech and the Ex Lapide Alum Society at the Capital Pride Festival.
- Cost: This event is free but participants can volunteer at our festival booth.

Hokie and Proud Everywhere
This summer we're hosting a special event called Hokie and Proud Everywhere. Joining in is easy and you get cool swag!
Sign up to participate. Registration is just $35 (a portion benefits the Virginia Tech Pride Center) and we'll mail you a Hokie and Proud hat, rally towel, and sticker sheet.
Then, participate in a Pride event near you and share your celebration online using #HokieandProud. This event is hosted by Virginia Tech's Ex Lapide Alum Society. Register by May 15 to get your swag in time for Capital Pride.
