No matter where you land after graduating, there's a Hokie waiting to welcome you! Across the country, chapters are hosting events to welcome new Hokies to their area. Connect with members of your alumni chapter, meet your young alumni committee, and learn all about your new city.

  • Details: Join the Annapolis Hokies at the Oaksmith residence for a potluck. Heavy appetizers and drinks will be provided. Please bring a dish to share. Address will be provided at registration confirmation.

  • Details: Calling all Atlanta Hokies, old and new; come hang out with your fellow Hokies at our annual Welcome to the City Event at Pour Taproom in West Midtown. The chapter will provide appetizers and starters and there will be drinks available for purchase. There is garage parking adjacent to Pour Taproom and rumor has it they are now validating parking. Looking forward to welcoming new alumni and connecting with friends ahead of football season!

Our group will have a reserved space out back in their courtyard. There's plenty of public parking.

  • Details: Our annual party down at the lake is a big event for our chapter and a great way to celebrate the upcoming football season and recent Hokie scholarships that our chapter has given out. Amy and Rob Schieper and Robin Atkins have always been gracious hosts for this event. This will be a potluck and B.Y.O.B. (No glass bottles). Rob, Amy, and Robin will provide grilled chicken and baked beans.

  • Details: Welcome to the Roanoke Valley Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association Acrylic Pour Paint Party "FUN"draiser event! Join us for a fun-filled evening of creativity and bonding with your fellow Hokies. The ticket price includes three canvases, instruction, paint, aprons, gloves, and everything else needed to create your masterpiece. We also provide boxes to transport your paintings home safely.  This project is super easy and will beautifully adorn your office or home! Show your support, meet other Hokies, and make a difference!
