Water Cyberwars

  • When: Thursday, May 30 at 6 p.m.
  • Where: Port City Brewing, 3950 Wheeler Ave., Alexandria, VA 22304
  • Cost: Registration is $10 and includes a $5 gift to the CCI Foundation fund.
  • More information:  There are about 153,000 public drinking water systems and 16,000 publicly-owned wastewater treatment utilities in the U.S., many of which have been targets of and are highly vulnerable to cyberattacks. In many of these cases, artificial intelligence comes to the rescue, but public policies need to follow.
