A Hokie alum works a booth at Capital Pride

Ex Lapide (Latin for “Out of Stone”) is a free Virginia Tech society for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning alums and allies.

Mission and purpose

To encourage fellowship and to represent the needs of Virginia Tech's LGBTQIA+ community. The success of the society depends on alums, students, faculty, staff, and other partners, who are willing to volunteer and support the efforts of the society.
