Ex Lapide Alum Society

Ex Lapide, Latin for "out of stone," is a vibrant community of Virginia Tech lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning alumni, and allies. Our society was formed to celebrate and support the diverse LGBTQIA+ members of the Virginia Tech family.

Ex Lapide's mission is to encourage fellowship and represent the needs of Virginia Tech's LGBTQIA+ community. We strive to create an inclusive environment where Hokie alumni from all backgrounds feel welcomed, empowered, and valued.
