Native and Indigenous Alumni Student Reception

A student at the American Indian & Indigenous Community Center

Saturday, April 6 from 6-8 p.m.
Holtzman Alumni Center

In 2017, the Native at Virginia Tech student group hosted the university’s first powwow, with the leadership of American Indian and Indigenous Community Center's Director Melissa Faircloth, and trailblazer Caylin Stewart '17. With their leadership, and the dedication of Native at Virginia Tech's students, the spring powwow has become a tradition. Each year, the powwow brings dancers, vendors, and community members from across the country to Virginia Tech's campus.

Following this year's powwow, join us for fellowship and a meal at the Holtzman Alumni Center at 6 p.m. We encourage you to dress in your casual attire and meet our current students, faculty, and staff.
