About The Market at Virginia Tech
The Market of Virginia Tech provides healthy, nutritious, locally-sourced food to Hokie students in need. Your Chapter Cheers registration supports The Market and you can choose to give above the registration fee to help more students.
It costs $30 to provide a week’s worth of food to a Hokie served by The Market of Virginia Tech. Whatever you can give will make an impact.
The Market was made possible by the generosity of Virginia Tech alumni, Hema and Mehul Sanghani. With their support, the university launched the innovative program to enhance food access for students. Unlike a typical food pantry, The Market provides fresh meat, dairy, and produce to up to 75 students each week on the Blacksburg campus.
