Richmond Sesquicentennial Celebration
Monday, July 18 from 5-7 p.m.
Hardywood Park Craft Brewery West Creek
820 Sanctuary Trail Drive, Richmond, VA 23238
Registration is $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event. Registration includes two drink tickets, light hors d'oeuvres, and $5 is a gift to the Keep Jumping Fund.
Join us to celebrate Virginia Tech's Sesquicentennial at Hardywood Park Craft Brewery, home to the Fightin’ Hokies Lager and the brand new All Hail to Thee.
Plus, hear from Brent Pry, Virginia Tech's head football coach, who will join the celebration. Pry was named Virginia Tech's coach in November after serving eight seasons as defensive coordinator/linebackers coach at Penn State.
Athletics Director Whit Babcock and former Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster will also join the event.
Registration for the celebration includes two drink tickets, a commemorative glass, and light hors d'oeuvres. Food trucks will also be onsite. The celebration is held in collaboration with the Richmond Hokie Club as the club's kickoff event.
Virginia Tech's officially licensed beer is a partnership between Hardywood Park Craft Brewery and Virginia Tech’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences.
The new ale follows the success of the Fightin' Hokies Lager, which debuted last spring and was the best-selling new craft beer in Virginia in 2021.
