(Holtzman Alumni Center Grand Hall) - 4-5 p.m. Meet and Greet with the original Denim Day organizers.
(The Lyric Theatre Lobby, College Ave., Blacksburg) - 5-6:30 p.m. Pride and Progress (presentations by alum leaders and university administrators). Light refreshments provided.
(The Lyric Theatre, College Ave., Blacksburg) - 6:30-9 p.m. Hokie and Proud Happy Hour and Queer Trivia Night. Beverages and heavy appetizers provided.
(Eastern Divide Brewing Company, Commerce St., Blacksburg)
- 8:30-10:30 a.m. Breakfast at The Big Event opening festivities. Hot and cold grab-and-go breakfast options and coffee provided.
(Drillfield) - 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. The Big Event participation and/or free time to explore campus and visit the bookstore, Blacksburg Farmer’s Market, and downtown businesses. Snack bags and Benny’s Pizza coupons distributed at breakfast on the Drillfield.
(Various locations) - 2-4 p.m. Lavender House and Pride Center Open Houses. Light refreshments provided.
(Squires Student Center and O’Shaughnessy (O’Shag) Hall) - 6-10 p.m. Hokie and Proud Weekend Dinner. Music, beverages, and BBQ-style dinner provided.
(Holtzman Alumni Center Terrace (rain location, Holtzman Alumni Center Grand Hall))
- 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Denim and Diamonds-themed drag brunch hosted by Student Affairs' Dining Services team, featuring the Downtown Divas of Roanoke. Buffet-style brunch and entertainment provided.
