More Info: Meet at the boathouse located on Winton Lake at 1 p.m. The hike will start with the Harbor Loop Trail, an easy 1.7 mile paved loop around the lake. This trail is both accessible and appropriate for all levels of hikers!

More Info: The Los Leones Trail is accessible from a small parking area along Los Liones Drive. The trail travels through some wooded areas before opening up and offering views of the canyon. As you head towards the East Topanga Fire Road, there are views of the ocean. The fire road is exposed, so be sure to bring plenty of water and sunscreen. The LA Hokies will meet at the gate where the trail starts.

More Info: We will be meeting at the Riverview Trailhead. Look for the gated entrance. Parking is on the side of the road. The hike is about four miles, two miles predominantly downhill and two miles uphill. The route meanders along the mountainside featuring impressive boulders and quiet woodland. If hikers want to do two miles instead, they can coordinate parking at the Astalot Trailhead halfway through the hike to avoid the uphill portion.

More Info: The SF Bay Area Hokies will meet at the Canyon Meadow Parking Lot. Please plan to arrive early to ensure parking. There are several lots but if parking is full you can park outside the entrance on the road. The hike is estimated to be 4-6 miles with about 600 feet of elevation. The park is mostly shaded with cooler temperatures.

Hokie Hike Meet Up (Easy) #1 - Twin Falls (North Bend)

More Info: One of two Seattle Hokie Hikes. This one is easy for adults and kids alike, and dogs are allowed on a leash.

Hokie Hike Meet Up (Moderate) #2 - Dirty Harry's Balcony (North Bend)

More Info: The Williamsburg Hokies will meet in front of Freedom Park's Interpretive Center, which is part of the Williamsburg Botanical Garden. The hike is a one-mile paved ADA-accessible trail or a total of two miles if you walk to the end and back. If you prefer hiking nature trails, trail maps are available online and inside the Interpretive Center. The hike is free to attend. Don't forget your water and bug spray if needed. Fun fact: The Williamsburg Alumni Chapter maintains the Virginia Tech Memorial bed anchoring the garden's sign outside the fence line. 
Parking and Restrooms: There is ample parking at the Interpretive Center. Likewise, bathrooms are available inside the Interpretive Center.
Lunch: The Williamsburg Hokies will meet after the hike for lunch at Oceans & Ale after the hike. If you would like to join in the festivities, please RSVP to wbghokies@gmail.com.
