Registrants will receive a confirmation email with access to purchase football tickets after registering for a Homecoming program. Tickets are available while supplies last! $5 of each adult registration is a gift to the Alumni Scholarship Fund.

Homecoming Tailgate
Saturday, Oct. 4 at 9 a.m.-noon

Make plans to tailgate with us before the Hokies take on Wake Forest! Enjoy lawn games, music, family-friendly activities, inflatables, and more. Registration is $15 in advance and $20 day-of and includes food, three adult drink tickets, and a gift to support student scholarships.

- Paid public and reserved gameday parking is available around campus
- We recommend parking at Perry Street Parking Garage for its proximity to the Homecoming Tailgate
- No direct shuttle is available from the Homecoming Tailgate to or from the game
- The gameday parking lot with an ADA accessible shuttle for the football game is in the Oak Lane lot in front of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority House, located at 2575 Oak Lane, for a $30 fee on the day of a game. The BT bus will pick up passengers at the stop sign outside the NW corner of the lot. Those using ADA parking will use the BT bus to return to the lot.
- We will have a golf cart shuttle between the Oak Lane lot and the Holtzman Alumni Center while the tailgate is taking place
- The BT transit center is located across from the HAC Tailgate next to Perry Street parking garage. Guests can catch a “Campus Shuttle” or “CAS” bus to the stadium for the game at the transit center
We do NOT offer a direct shuttle from the Holtzman Alumni Center to the game, if guests need a ride to the game they are encouraged to use the BT bus transit system.
