Cornerstone Series: Digital fraud in today’s world
Join experts across Virginia to learn about the latest trends in consumer fraud and how you can protect yourself.
We're hosting six lectures for Cornerstone Alumni to learn about Medicare fraud, holiday scams, cyber crimes and electronic devices, online romance scams, and artificial intelligence. Our last lecture in the series will be about recovery and consumer empowerment following a scam attempt. Speakers will include the Virginia State Police, AARP, the Better Business Bureau, and more.
Currently, Virginia ranks No. 10 nationwide on reportable scams to seniors. Come learn, ask questions, and leave ready react to these situations. Registrants will receive a link to an audio recording and the recorded Zoom session after the event.
