Robert Broyden
Associate Vice President for Capital Assets and Financial Management
Broyden is a double Hokie, ’87 and ’89. After a few years working in government and industry, he returned to Virginia Tech in 1993 to work in finance and budget and is currently serving in the role of associate vice president for capital assets and financial management. Broyden and his wife Lisa have been married 28 years and live in Blacksburg with their children, Max (’21), Jennifer (’23), Nicholas (Blacksburg High School Class of 2021), a couple dogs, and a horse named Breeze. Bob and Lisa enjoy many outdoor recreation activities, time with family, and traveling.
