Jerrad Miers

Providing strategic oversight to the technical support staff and its initiatives.
Prior to joining Virginia Tech, Jerrad provided Information Technology leadership at other top-tier higher education institutions, including service at his alma maters, the University of Missouri and Columbia College. At each stop in his professional journey, Jerrad has exercised servant leadership to form IT departments with a focus on customer service and developed close partnerships with decision-makers across the organization.
Jerrad is very active with Scouts BSA where he is a den leader and activity planner. Jerrad is an outdoorsman who also enjoys woodworking, restorations, biking and reading.
