Reunion Block Show

Participate in the 2020 Black Alumni Reunion Block Show. The BAR planning team and the Block Show Committee want all nine Divine Nine organizations and multicultural organizations with black members represented.

The team and committee are looking for teams composed of undergraduate members, graduate/alumni members, individual induction/pledge lines, or a mixture of individuals who are willing to stroll, step, sing, hop, march, or whatever you're willing and able to do to honor your organization and/or chapter! Multiple teams representing the black Greek organizations chartered on Virginia Tech’s campus, especially if this is a significant anniversary year for your chapter, are welcome.

Performances will be anywhere between three and five minutes and serve as an opportunity to highlight your chapter's legacy on Tech's campus and your organization in an overall positive light. Partner with past members virtually (i.e. FaceTime, video recordings, etc.) to be as inclusive of members regardless of distance and/or physical limitations. 

Three chapters are celebrating significant anniversary years in 2020 that will be acknowledged during the show, so please invite any charter members who are able to attend! These organizations are Delta Sigma Theta (Mu Alpha – 45 years), Phi Beta Sigma (Mu Nu – 40 years), and Sigma Gamma Rho (Kappa Psi – 35 years). Two organizations celebrated significant anniversaries last year in 2019. Omega Psi Phi (Eta Lambda) and Alpha Kappa Alpha (Theta Chi)  Please help us celebrate these major milestones by ensuring your chapter members (past and present) are invited and present!

If you will participate in multiple capacities (i.e. graduate chapter, undergraduate chapter, charter line, etc.) please submit the form multiple times with the distinction noted in the form.
