Monday, March 10 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Virtual via Zoom
Registration is $10 and includes a $5 gift to the Fralin Biomedical Research Institute Annual Fund and Hokie swag.
Join us for Brain School, where we'll explore cutting-edge science that has the potential to transform treatment for brain disorders.
Breakthroughs in Focused Ultrasound for brain disorders can destroy diseased tissue and tumors, alter brain activity, and offer new potential treatments for conditions like addiction, chronic pain, movement disorders, and childhood brain cancer.
Virginia Tech is one of only six Centers of Excellence in the U.S. and among 12 worldwide recognized by the Focused Ultrasound Foundation.
This research spans engineering, neuroscience, medicine, and veterinary sciences, harnessing state-of-the-art technology to pioneer treatments for people and pets.
