The Alumni Weekend schedule outline is below.
Registration includes access to all scheduled events, including tours and sessions, plus meals, happy hours, and drinks! When you sign up, the weekend is all inclusive. We’ll handle the fun, food, and more.
Tours and seminars have set times with staff or student facilitators, while open houses are casual come and go opportunities.
Attire for the weekend is Hokie Casual.
An information table and check-in will be available for all guests at the Holtzman Alumni Center starting on Wednesday, June 4.
Thursday, June 5
- 8:30-10 a.m. Cornerstone and 50th breakfast with colleges (Squires, Commonwealth Ballroom)
- 10:15 a.m.-noon Morning speaker sessions and behind-the-scenes tours
- 10:15-11 a.m. School of Communication Multimedia Center Tour (Moss Arts Center, Room 153)
- 10:15-11 a.m. XPRIZE Rainforest Competition Presentation (Squires Student Center, Colonial Hall)
- 11:15 a.m.-noon Corps of Cadets Upper Quad Tour (Meet in Squires Student Center near Alumni Mall)
- 11:15 a.m.-noon Native Species and Seasonal Container Gardening (Squires Student Center, Colonial Hall)

- 6-10 p.m. Cornerstone Alumni and 50th Reunion Induction Banquet (Squires Student Center, Commonwealth Ballroom; attire is semi-formal)

- All weekend. Noon-6 p.m. Breakzone. Breakzone is Virginia Tech’s home of billiards, bowling, and table tennis. Breakzone's relaxing environment offers a way to spend some time with friends or family. Available for free for Alumni Weekend attendees (Squires Student Center)
- All weekend. Hahn Garden self-guided tour, pick up a map at the garden (Hahn Horticulture Garden)
