Jacksonville Chapter Student Scholarship

Dear Future Hokie,

Attending Virginia Tech was one of the most rewarding experiences in my life. As many as 800 Tech alumni are living or working in the Jacksonville area as well. On behalf of these fellow alumni, we want to encourage you to attend Virginia Tech where we are "putting knowledge to work."

The university's motto, Ut Prosim (That I May Serve), drives the university and its alumni to promote service to society at many levels. As part of our service, the Jacksonville Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association plans to award a scholarship to a worthy high school senior in our area who will attend Virginia Tech in the fall of 2023.

The criteria for selecting the recipient are based on academic achievement, extracurricular activities, financial need, and a recommendation letter from a non-family member.
