Sharon Martin

Sharon Brickhouse Martin, PMP, is vice president of health services integration at VHC Health™ in Arlington. Virginia. In this role, she is responsible for leading, planning and managing strategic initiatives and complex projects that require coordination across multiple VHC Health departments.

She is also the founder and president of Brickhouse•Martin Healthcare Engineering (B•MHE), a Brickhouse•Martin, LLC company. A small business professional services firm since 1991, B•MHE's mission is to collaborate with clients to manage change and sustain improvements using proven engineering analyses. Martin, a senior consultant with more than 30 years of experience, is responsible for the management and information technology services that the firm provides to its healthcare clients.

Martin has a long history of community service and was appointed by Governor Northam to serve on the Virginia Tech Board of Visitors 2019-2023. She currently serves on the Advisory Board of the Ron Brown Scholars Program based in Charlottesville, VA, and the Board of Directors of Health Care for Children with Special Needs, Inc, an affiliated board of Children’s National in Washington, D.C.


Martin earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research and an M.S. in Engineering Administration, both from Virginia Tech. She is a qualified Myers Briggs Type Indicator instructor and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
