Rhonda Arsenault

In her role as senior associate vice president for Advancement and chief operating officer for the Advancement division, Rhonda Arsenault serves as the secretary-treasurer and chief operating officer of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association Board. Arsenault joined Virginia Tech in 2001 and was named to her current role in 2021. In this role, she oversees a number of service areas critical to the smooth operation of the Advancement division. These include Human Resources, Annual Giving, Gift Accounting, Data Integrity & Information Systems, Business Operations, and Donor Relations & Prospect Development.

Arsenault earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). She has also taken coursework toward a doctorate in higher education administration at Virginia Tech.

Arsenault began her career in the advancement profession in 1993 at her alma mater during its successful $1 billion campaign.
