Jeremy Davis ’09 is a strategy and commercial executive with experience building and leading global businesses at the intersection of climate, sustainability, data, and technology. Most recently, he served as an Executive Director at MSCI, where he led the global sustainability and climate product business for corporate clients and their advisors, overseeing strategy, product development, go-to-market, and P&L management. Previously, Jeremy held leadership roles at MSCI spanning corporate and advisor coverage and carbon markets, and at Moody’s, where he helped integrate climate and sustainability initiatives across the business. Earlier in his career, he held roles in sustainability and strategic initiatives at Barclays and NBCUniversal, after starting in corporate development in the nonprofit sector at New York Cares.

Jeremy’s commitment to Virginia Tech began as an undergraduate, when he served as a Resident Advisor and was involved with the Virginia Tech Rescue Squad, German Club, and Student Alumni Associates. Since graduating, he has continued to contribute to the university community as Vice President of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association’s New York City Chapter and a member of the Pamplin College of Business Recent Alumni Board. He now serves on the Virginia Tech Alumni Association Board and its Executive Committee.

Jeremy holds a BS in Management and a BA in Public and Urban Affairs from Virginia Tech and completed the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Public Service at NYU Wagner. He and his wife, Amanda (Gurtis ’09), live in Crozet, Virginia, with their daughter and twin boys.
