Matt Cook
Matt Cook is a managing consultant at Guidehouse. As a member of the Healthcare IT Solutions team, he partners with clients to transform operations and care delivery by improving their technology and data. He is passionate about making technology an asset for both clinicians and patients, while addressing inefficiencies in our healthcare system.
A native of King George, Virginia, Matt graduated from Virginia Tech in 2012 with a bachelor of science degree in biology. Since graduation, he has worked with multiple healthcare organizations, specializing in electronic medical records, project management, and relationship management. Cook currently serves as the chapter president of the Roanoke Valley Chapter of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association and recently completed his call as a deacon at Raleigh Court Presbyterian Church.
While an undergraduate, he was elected to multiple leadership positions in Greek life, gave tours as a Hokie Ambassador, was on the club swim team, and received the Merit Key Award for Courageous Leadership. Cook is married to Sue Cook (also a Virginia Tech alum, Class of 2012) and has two children: Josie and Ryland. His hobbies include hiking, triathlons, and cheering on the Hokies!
