Keith Stemple

Keith Stemple is the chief legal personnel and development and practice management officer at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP (WilmerHale) in Washington, D.C. 

He has over 25 years of broader human resources experience across the legal industry, professional services, and higher education, having worked at The George Washington University, Arthur Andersen, and Virginia Tech prior to joining WilmerHale in 2007. 

Stemple earned a master of arts in education focusing on human resource development from The George Washington University in 2005 and a bachelor of arts with a double major in history and political science from Virginia Tech in 1995. 

He has been an active Hokie since his graduation, serving as the D.C. Metro Area Chapter scholarship chair for over 20 years until 2021. He is currently vice president of the Virginia Tech Alumni Association Board of Directors and a member of the Hokie Club.  

In addition, Stemple currently serves as chairman of the Board of Directors for the German Club Alumni Foundation.
