Morgan Blackwood Patel

Morgan Blackwood Patel is a partner/owner at Blackwood Development Company, a boutique, Richmond, Virginia, based real estate development firm. Blackwood Development has real estate development activities across the Commonwealth of Virginia with retail, multifamily, and mixed used assets.

Blackwood Patel is also owner/founder of Greystreak, a real estate consulting firm with clients in the Mid-Atlantic. Greystreak's focus is on creating unmatched tenant and guest experiences through innovative placemaking and thoughtful design and operational decisions. She graduated Virginia Tech with a degree in industrial and systems engineering with minors in French and business. She went on to receive her MBA at Harvard Business School.

She currently serves on the Virginia Tech Alumni Association Advisory Board and the Blackwood Real Estate Department Advisory Board. She was also the tri-chair of the Virginia Tech Beyond Boundaries campaign, the chair of the Industrial and Systems Advisory Board, and a member of Women in Leadership and Philanthropy at Virginia Tech. Blackwood Patel resides in Richmond with her husband and young son.
