Amy Hayes
Amy Hayes advises the boards and CEOs of global organizations on CEO succession. She also develops CEOs and other C-suite executives as a coach.
Hayes has over 20 years of executive assessment and development experience, including co-founding the global leadership and succession business at Russell Reynolds Associates.
Using her expertise in succession planning and talent development, Hayes helps clients make impactful leadership decisions during times of change and advises leadership teams through transitions. She is passionate about inclusive and sustainable leadership.
As an executive coach, Hayes is known for building trust with her clients, challenging their thinking, and supporting them in making meaningful and measurable behavioral changes.
Before joining Russell Reynolds, Hayes worked as a management consultant and as an internal consultant at a major U.S. retailer. Hayes received her B.S., Phi Beta Kappa and magna cum laude, in psychology and her M.S. and Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from Virginia Tech, where she has served on numerous boards. She has also completed a coaching certification program at Columbia University.
